Our client, a leading digital recruitment specialist, is seeking a highly skilled Content and SEO Executive to join their team at an exciting time of growth. As a key member of the SEO team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing content and SEO strategies that drive business results.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working from the office in North Devon. While hybrid working is available, the ideal candidate must be within a commutable distance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and be able to produce high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent written English skills, and the ability to adapt their writing style to suit different topics and formats. They will also have a solid understanding of the basics of SEO, including on-page SEO and search intent.
Key responsibilities will include creating SEO-friendly blog and website content, working with the Head of SEO to devise content and SEO strategies, running technical audits, and resolving technical SEO issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the client's website content, SEO, and LinkedIn account.

Essential Skills and Qualities:- Excellent written English skills
- Understanding of the basics of SEO, including on-page SEO and search intent
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly pick up new technology and software
- Curious and interested in SEO and the future of search
- Team player, with the ability to pitch in and help others when needed
- Degree in English or a similar subject
- At least 1 year's experience in SEO or content marketing
- Experience working with a CMS (content management system)
- Proficiency using spreadsheets to work with data at scale
- Proficiency using project management tools such as Asana
