About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join our team in Cirencester. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for planning and completing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts, and working closely with clients to build trusted relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and complete audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, cashflow and budgets, and completion of financial statements.
  • Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, proactively problem solving.
  • Deliver a good commercial awareness, working with senior staff to monitor budgets.
  • Confidently present work to managers, completing files to a high standard.
  • Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
  • Mentor new starters, supporting their learning and development through knowledge sharing.
  • Set an example as a hands-on member of the team.

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified, studying or a finalist.
  • Previous experience within accountancy practice.
  • Knowledge of audit and general accounting.
  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Enthusiastic about professional development, eager to progress.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Awareness of current affairs and commercial processes.
