We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Administrator to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial SME based in Surrey. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a varied and challenging environment.
As a Senior Financial Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be entrusted with a wide range of financial responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional multitasking abilities and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. Experience with SME accounting software, particularly Sage 50, is highly desirable.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable and overseeing supplier payments
- Handling accounts receivable, including invoicing and credit control
- Performing banking transactions and maintaining cash records
- Assisting with monthly journals and general ledger reconciliations
- Conducting monthly sales activity reporting using Microsoft Excel
- Maintaining fixed assets and performing depreciation calculations
- Supporting quarterly VAT preparation and annual budget forecasts
- Assisting with the audit process
A valid driver's license is essential due to the company's location, and free onsite parking is available.
This position is office-based, with working hours from Monday to Friday.
