Job Description

Macklin Care Homes is seeking a skilled Relief Activities Therapist to join their team at Milesian Manor Nursing Home. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional care to residents, working collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating and engaging activity program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a diverse and developing activity program to enhance the quality of life for each resident.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality, person-centered activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive care environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and a valid work permit.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved/working towards).
  • Experience of working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
  • Knowledge of the Care of the Elderly Patients Charter of Rights.
