Job Title: Application Support Specialist

At Bupa, we're passionate about technology and making health happen. We're seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to our digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2nd line technical support for application, operational, and project issues
  • Impact assess and validate technical solutions
  • Participate in the documentation of technical solutions
  • Perform proof of concepts to ensure end-to-end solutions are fit for purpose
  • Work within application delivery standards, development methodologies, and strategic architecture frameworks
  • Provide input to projects and solution delivery teams regarding technologies within their domain
  • Take part in implementation activities, change control, and release planning
  • Take ownership for resolving IT-related problems within their domain
Requirements:
  • Experience in PL/SQL
  • Experience in.NET or C# would be advantageous
  • IT graduate or equivalent experience working in an IT service delivery role
  • Knowledge and experience of IT technologies
  • Strong communication skills, good team player
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
  • Logical approach to software solutions and problem-solving
