Salary: Up to £33,500 depending on experience

About the Role:

We're passionate about technology at Bupa, and we're looking for an Application Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Group Technology and Information Services team, you'll provide technical support and participate in the development, implementation, and support of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line technical support for application, operational, and project issues
  • Work within application delivery standards, development methodologies, and strategic architecture frameworks
  • Provide input to projects and solution delivery teams regarding technologies within their domain
  • Take part in implementation activities, change control, and release planning
  • Take ownership for resolving IT-related problems within their domain
  • Establish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other IT teams

Requirements:

  • IT graduate or equivalent experience working in an IT service delivery role
  • Knowledge and experience of IT technologies
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
  • Logical approach to software solutions and problem-solving
