About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and committed Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in our Out-of-Hours and Clinical Assessment service in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality urgent care to patients in a face-to-face appointment capacity.
As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111, CAS, and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it.
This is an ideal opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner who can independently prescribe and work autonomously within their sphere of competency as part of a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team. We can offer this role as either bank or self-employed.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients in a face-to-face appointment capacity
- Assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment, and discharge or refer them to other healthcare professionals via primary care centres and home visits
- Use our electronic prescribing system
- Work autonomously within your sphere of competency as part of a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team
Requirements
- Recent experience as an autonomous advanced clinical practitioner in a primary/urgent care environment
- Proven ability to see, treat, and discharge patients of all ages with unscheduled presentations
- Patient assessment qualification, independent prescribing qualification, and either NMC/HCPC PIN
- Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills
