Site Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Technician to join our team at CJ Associates. As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking Soils, Concrete, and Bituminous testing and sampling on site at various locations and in the laboratory based in Bridgend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Soils, Concrete, and Bituminous testing and sampling on site and in the laboratory.
- Plan and manage your work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide effective input to projects consistent with your skills and experience.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the laboratory by working with and supporting more senior staff.
- Identify your internal and external training needs and participate in relevant training programs.
- Contribute to the promotion of the company's services and participate in the general development of customer goodwill.
- Deliver tasks for review in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and report any unsafe acts or incidents immediately.
- Seek advice and clarification from senior staff as needed.
- Report to the required standards in the appropriate format and on time.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Insitu and Laboratory Testing Activities is advantageous.
- The post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry-recognised external training courses, including PTS, CCNSG, CSCS, CAT, First Aid, and manual handling training.
- A UK Driving License is required.
