Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Technician to join our team at CJ Associates. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for undertaking Soils, Concrete and Bituminous testing and sampling on site at various locations and in the laboratory based in Bridgend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Soils, Concrete and Bituminous testing and sampling on site and in the laboratory.
  • Plan and manage your work to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide effective input to projects consistent with your skills and experience.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the laboratory by working with and supporting more senior staff.
  • Identify and report any unsafe acts or incidents immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules and procedures.
  • Report to the required standards in the appropriate format and on time.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Insitu & Laboratory Testing Activities would be advantageous.
  • UK Driving License.
  • Ability to work to deadlines & targets.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all external clients and employees.

Personal Qualities:

  • Conduct business in a professional manner.
  • Flexible in approach to work – regarding working hours and working away from home.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
