About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our Credit Control team on a part-time basis. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any disputes that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving any disputes that may arise.
- Chase overdue debts through telephone, email, or written communication.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of larger accounts, including uploading documents into customer intranet portals.
- Collaborate with internal and external sales staff to resolve account queries.
- Produce and maintain credit note request documentation within our internal system.
- Allocate cash receipts on a daily basis and perform weekly and periodic archive filing.
Requirements
- Experience in a credit control or sales ledger team is preferred but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
