Sales Ledger Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our Credit Control team at Draper Tools. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any disputes that may arise.

About the Role

As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding their accounts. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts, including invoicing, chasing payments, and resolving disputes
  • Communicating with customers via phone, email, or letter to resolve any issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating the sales ledger system
  • Working closely with the credit control team to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in a credit control or sales ledger role is preferred but not essential
