We are a leading power generation company based in Northern Ireland, specializing in diesel generator services. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Diesel Plant Technician.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanic for Diesel Generators to join our team. As a Diesel Plant Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel generators across our customers' sites in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks on diesel generators
- Carry out general servicing and reactive maintenance
- Conduct standard diagnosis tests to establish faults and identify areas for improvement
- Repair and overhaul diesel engines
- Experience as a time-served mechanic or technician with a plant background or similar industry
- Apprentice-trained or minimum 5 years' experience in a quality service environment within a similar industry
- Ability to work independently and work overtime when required
- Full driving license
- Competitive salary negotiable based on experience
