Job Title: Diesel Plant Mechanic

AC Automation is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Diesel Plant Mechanic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel generators across our customers' sites in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Carry out standard diagnosis tests of generators/components to establish faults
  • Engine repairs and overhauls
  • General servicing and reactive maintenance
Requirements:
  • Experience as a time served mechanic or technician with a plant background or similar industry (generator experience desirable but not essential)
  • Apprentice trained, or minimum 5 years' experience in a quality service environment within a similar industry
  • Ability to work on your own and work overtime when required
  • UK Driving license
Remuneration Package:
  • Salary negotiable, dependant upon experience
