At First Bus, we are seeking an experienced Operational Account Manager to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role based in our Head Office at Clayton Le Moors.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing operational and account management support to ensure service levels are maintained through effective planning and communication.
The Day-to-Day
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local business units to drive performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure punctual, safe, and reliable service is maintained to achieve KPI targets, and implement efficient solutions to provide the best value for money service to our clients.
- Develop and implement a structured account management approach, including regular client meetings and presentation of service performance data.
- Liaise with local business units to create a cohesive working environment and ensure a consistent approach to working.
- Perform site visits to client and supplier premises nationwide.
Requirements
- Previous contract/client management experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and solution-focused approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
