Position Overview

As a key player in Ainscough Crane Hire, you will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives across the North West and Scotland. We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Regional Sales Manager who is committed to driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the ASM team, ensuring they achieve their sales objectives.
  • Establish and maintain high operational standards to maximize revenue in your designated area.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while consistently meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key account customers and stakeholders to enhance profitable growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee the performance and professional development of Area Sales Managers and their respective accounts.
  • Ensure comprehensive knowledge of our products and services among team members to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to improve communication and identify training needs aligned with business goals.
  • Assist the ASM team in preparing proposals, presentations, and participating in client meetings as necessary.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.
  • Provide continuous coaching to boost team motivation and sales proficiency.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business objectives.

Candidate Profile

Education/Experience

In-depth knowledge of the crane hire industry and mobile crane market.

Technical proficiency in crane specifications and relevant business details.

Demonstrated leadership qualities that align with our company values and inspire team success.

Skills/Abilities

Exceptional communication and leadership skills adaptable to various environments.

Strong people management capabilities with an emphasis on teamwork and collective achievement.

Skilled in delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients.

Proven negotiation skills and commercial insight.
