About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our migration projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, including migration strategy, scope definition, resource allocation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations during migrations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and issues that may arise during migrations.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify deviations from plan, and take appropriate corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are included in migration plans and effectively communicated to project teams.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within agreed-upon financial constraints.
  • Develop a migration practice including a toolset incorporating templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience of leading complex migration projects with cross functional teams across multiple parties.
  • Highly competent in the use of ETL or ELT migration tools and the use of staging areas for managing the translation and loading of data.
  • Ability to translate complex data requirements to a business audience to ensure clarity of requirements.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business or technical objective.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project stakeholders and sponsors.
