About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Royal London. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering change to our Accounting and Actuarial systems to support the achievement of our Group strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex change initiatives, spanning multiple lines of business and other projects.
  • Link financial or actuarial system changes to upstream projects.
  • Support Finance in planning and shaping solutions.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may arise during change projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of working in projects covering changes to finance systems, with the ability to understand technical actuarial and financial jargon. You will also have experience in release management and the ability to build plans around the six-monthly actuarial release plan.
