Finance Officer Job Description

Your new company, a not-for-profit organisation in West London, is seeking a part-time Finance Officer to join their finance function on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the petty cash and ensure accurate records.
  • Process timesheets and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process accounts payable invoices with high accuracy.
  • Set up and process supplier payment runs and send remittances.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Sage 50cloud Accounts.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • High level of numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
