About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration and Systems Validation Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our Integration and Systems Validation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful integration and validation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the systems engineering team and design teams to plan and execute trials, ensuring adequate trials data is acquired and design issues are investigated and resolved.
  • Generate trials documentation, prepare and deliver internal and external Trials Readiness Reviews, and conduct post-trials data analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct and/or support trials, including laboratory-based functional integration trials, ground-based trials, and electrical tests and software proving tests to meet Proving Requirements.
  • Carry out Functional Proving activities using Special To Type Test Equipment (SSTE) and diagnose issues using COTS Test Equipment (DMM, Oscilloscopes, etc.).
  • Support Environmental Testing programmes, including BIT test and collation of Trials Conduct Reports, and support a range of ground trials within compatibility testing labs and trials sites.
  • Generate and monitor Non-Conformances within SAP.
About You

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in systems integration, design proving, and trials. You will need to have experience working in the following environments:

  • System Integration
  • Design Proving and Trials
  • System and Subsystem Integration
  • BIT Test and Pass Out Test
  • System Assessment and Acceptance
  • Design Verification
  • Electronic Design/Test

You will also need to have knowledge of MIL-STD-1553.
