Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Public Health and Community Practice team in Devon County Council. As a Public Health Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellness in our communities, working closely with families and children to deliver the Healthy Child Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Healthy Child Programme with Health Visitors and develop skills in public health and multi-agency working.
  • Work with families and children to promote health and wellness, and support the health needs of the community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in public health and community practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a passion for public health and community practice.
  • Experience working with families and children, and a strong understanding of community practice and public health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
