About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our Upgrade and Crossgrade product on our Commerce team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceiving, defining, designing, developing, testing, and launching highly effective plan merchandising and selection experiences that are contextually relevant, useful, and resonant with prospective subscribers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Own High-Value Digital Features: Develop and own high-value, consumer-centric digital features and products for web, mobile devices, connected devices, and smart TVs.
  • Use Data to Define Requirements: Use qualitative and quantitative data to define requirements and drive product development.
  • Present Vision and Strategy: Present vision, strategy, work product, insights, and KPIs to stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other product owners, designers, and engineers to successfully deliver products to market. Build, test, learn, and increment.
  • Balance Inputs from Multiple Teams: Balance inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external teams. Create a network of cross-functional partners. Build rapport and earn trust.
  • Define and Evangelize Best Practices: Define and evangelize best practices. Collaborate on the planning and building of scalable and extensible tools and resources.
  • Develop a Roadmap of Impact-Generating Digital Products: Develop a roadmap of impact-generating digital products, features, and optimizations that prioritize customer value, business growth, and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven Track Record of End-to-End Ownership: You are an experienced product owner with a proven track record of end-to-end ownership and delivery of consumer-facing digital products.
  • Deep Operational Knowledge and Expertise: You have relentlessly high standards and deep operational knowledge and expertise in every aspect of digital product development. You use tools, technologies, established best practices, and your experience-based methods.
  • Consumer-Centric Approach: You examine the data and listen to the voice of the consumer. You identify the most impactful concepts and push them through a rigorous course of critical evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, success—or failure.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator, able to articulate your point of view, engage in fact-based discourse, collaborate, compromise, and bridge gaps across teams and stakeholders at every level.
  • Resourceful and Adaptable: You are resourceful and you lean on yourself, able to bring the big ideas and deliver the practical daily output. You feel most at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.
  • Fluid and Adaptable: You are fluid and adaptable, can pivot and work on multiple tracks, and bring clarity to ambiguous initiatives.
  • Consumer-First Approach: You have a consumer-first approach to product design and development.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 5 Years of Product Ownership Experience: Minimum 5 years owning the product lifecycle—leading customer plan merchandising moments, monetization strategies, and toolkits for optimization, experimentation, and personalization in an e-commerce business.
  • Case Studies of Digital Products: Readiness to share a presentation of case studies of digital products.
  • Experience in Product Spaces: Experience in product spaces related to sign-up, plan picking, and other upgrade and change plan journeys.
  • Experience Developing Products: Experience developing products for the web and shipping apps to iOS or Android.
  • Expertise in Rapid Deployment and Experimentation: Expertise in rapid deployment and experimentation—metrics, analytics, A/B testing, user testing, and market research.
  • Experience Working in Agile Environment: Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Familiarity with Common Tools: Close familiarity with common project management tools such as Jira, testing tools such as Optimizely, and analytics tools such as Adobe.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience with Entertainment Platforms: Experience with entertainment platforms—tvOS, Fire TV, Roku, etc.—is a plus.
