About the Role:
As a Lead Care Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the comprehensive care needs of our residents.
- Fostering a positive and safe working environment that adheres to all relevant standards, policies, and regulations.
- Utilizing a holistic approach to achieve care outcomes in collaboration with various departments.
- Working closely with care staff to promote teamwork and effective communication.
- Performing personal care tasks with compassion and respect.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a care assistant or support worker role is essential.
- Commitment to achieving qualifications necessary for registration with the relevant authority.
- Desirable qualifications include SVQ level 3 or equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- A kind and caring disposition is essential for this role.
