Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planned and emergency maintenance for a variety of electrical systems, including heavy and light current apparatus.
  • Diagnose and rectify equipment faults, suggesting modifications and enhancements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Adhere to the company's Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety Policies, promoting a culture of safety.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards.
  • After training, provide on-call support for technical issues on a rotational basis.
  • Work with diverse equipment, including boilers, steam distribution systems, and water treatment facilities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in a continuous process industry.
  • Proficient in computer systems and maintenance software.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility.
  • Availability for emergency call-outs outside regular hours.
  • Familiarity with control and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with PLC systems.
