Job Title: Data Analyst

Leonardo UK is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Joint Avionics Service (JAS) team at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Typhoon Fast Jet by retrieving, structuring, and analysing operational, engineering, and logistics data to enable monitoring and optimisation of the spares and repairs chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and analyse data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to visualise data insights
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery and Project Engineering managers to inform decision-making
  • Liaise with logistics, field engineers, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with our JAS Partner, BAES, to maintain a single source of truth for in-service support data
  • Support future bid activity for follow-on JAS contracts
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience applying supportability engineering principles and standards
  • Knowledge of logistics and engineering activities for complex Defence or Aerospace products
  • Experience working with Engineering Project Managers and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
  • Technical competence in data visualisation and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
