Venn Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Communications Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role will cover a maternity leave and provide an opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization's communications strategy.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Associate Director for Communications and Engagement and be responsible for promoting a positive and relevant presence for our organization to a diverse global audience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Digital Communications Executive team and provide guidance on the development and implementation of our brand and communications strategy.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to create and execute multi-channel campaigns that support our organization's objectives and content, and evaluate metrics to inform future campaigns.
- Manage the production of written and visual assets to promote content and events, working closely with the Digital Communications Executive.
- Support the Director's speaking program by responding to speaking invitations, preparing speaking notes and presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and write, issue, and pitch press releases to secure media coverage.
- Oversee the creation and management of content on our website, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with best practices in UX.
- Manage our social media presence, planning and writing posts that resonate with our target audience, with a focus on LinkedIn and X.
- Produce the monthly email newsletter, sourcing content from our Engagement and Content teams.
- Commission and oversee the work of external agencies and suppliers, such as photographers, videographers, software developers, and podcast producers.
We are looking for a highly experienced candidate who can take on this challenging yet rewarding role and make a significant contribution to our organization's communications efforts.
