Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our tax technical and national network, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and mid-cap and inbound companies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage senior stakeholders, including Partners and Directors, to develop and implement tax strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities and pursuing market activation.
- Develop and lead projects, introducing relevant specialists as needed, to deliver complex tax solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop market-leading relationships with clients and deliver high-quality tax advice.
- Stay up-to-date with technical developments, including changes in tax law and legislation, to advise clients and internal stakeholders on the latest tax technical issues.
- ACA and/or CTA (or international equivalent) qualification.
- Relevant and up-to-date UK tax knowledge, with experience of complex tax issues facing locally and internationally owned businesses and private equity portfolio companies.
- Proven experience in business development, including new and existing clients or gaps in the market to create profitable opportunities/value propositions for tax services.
- Previous project management experience and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Efficient use of technology in managing client and contact relationships, pursuing opportunities, and overseeing the delivery of analysis and written deliverables.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to scale efficiencies and continuous improvement across multiple projects and environments.
