About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at Queen Mary University of London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer and/or developmental biology and a proven ability to perform molecular biology techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on the molecular mechanisms underlying craniopharyngiomas, a paediatric Wnt-driven hypothalamic-pituitary tumour.
  • Develop and implement transgenic models, developmental biology, and bioinformatics techniques to understand early stages of tumour formation.
  • Manage mouse colonies and perform in vivo work.
  • Collaborate with clinical-scientists, bioinformaticians, and geneticists to advance our understanding of tumour formation.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to perform molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience in managing mouse colonies and performing in vivo work.
  • Good knowledge of software for statistical analyses and editing figures.
