We are seeking a skilled VAT specialist to join our European Tax team as an Indirect Tax Manager. The successful candidate will support indirect tax compliance and advisory matters across the European region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect tax, with experience in managing internal indirect tax affairs of multiple European jurisdictions. They will be able to translate knowledge and understanding of European and jurisdictional VAT regulation into practical business advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support indirect tax compliance and advisory matters across the European region
  2. Manage internal indirect tax affairs of multiple European jurisdictions
  3. Develop and implement SOPs, systems, tools, and best practices to improve tax processes
  4. Provide practical business advice on European and jurisdictional VAT regulation

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years demonstrated experience in an indirect tax role, managing internal indirect tax affairs of multiple European jurisdictions
  2. Consultancy background from a Big 4/Tier A accountancy firm
  3. Recent experience gained from a blue chip in-house tax department
  4. Recognised professional accounting or tax qualification will be an advantage
