Join Oxwash as a Weekend Delivery Driver and be part of our team that is revolutionizing the way we clean and care for garments. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by wearing the correct PPE and uniform, reporting accidents and incidents to your line manager, and driving in compliance with the highway code and Oxwash's SOPs.
- Inventory: Monitor and report low stock levels of consumable spare parts, ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, and complete weekly van checks.
- Operations: Deliver assigned tasks efficiently, complete weekly van checks, and escalate issues to the Logistics Manager/Shift Manager as necessary.
- Quality and Customer Experience: Ensure all items arrive at the customer in the same state as they left our site, uphold the positive image of the brand, and handle customer queries with sensitivity and discretion.
- Leadership and Team Development: Aid in the training of new hires, upskill yourself, and provide clear communication to internal stakeholders.
- Technical Competency: Hold a valid HGV Class 2 License with no more than 3 points, have at least 1.5 years of Class 2 experience, and possess a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Technology, Automation, and Innovation: Have a good knowledge of computer systems, be willing to learn internal systems, and understand data to identify and solve issues.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Use influencing and collaboration skills to build effective working relationships, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and embody Oxwash's values of creativity, excellence, and integrity.
- A salary of £11,693 per year
