About the CompanyOur client is a leading provider of complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures.
They pride themselves on their quick and competitively priced response to client needs, using cutting-edge technology to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Identify new market opportunities and sectors to drive business growth
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies
- Develop and implement a robust business development plan that aligns with the company's overall objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and industry partners
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content that target new and existing markets
- Lead and manage the bid and tender process from inception to submission, ensuring that proposals are competitive and compelling
- Work closely with technical teams to gather necessary information for tenders and ensure that client requirements are met
- Provide accurate and meaningful information to senior management on sales pipelines and performance
- Extensive experience within a sales or account management environment, ideally within drainage or a similar sector
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
- Proactive and able to use own initiative to solve problems and implement processes
- Leadership skills
- Sales target and service driven with the ability to motivate others in the team towards achievement of targets
The company offers a competitive starting salary of £35,000 - £45,000, a good benefits package including car allowance and bonus structure, enhanced pension, holiday scheme, and other key benefits.
