Morson is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to recruit a Document and Data Management Controller for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate, with the possibility of working from home or in the Stevenage office.

  1. Ensure adherence to company guidelines and best practices in Configuration Management.
  2. Support the production of user guides, improvement of CM tools, and training on new releases.
  3. Collaborate with project, product, and service teams as part of the CADM team.
  4. Provide first-line support and training for PLM tool/CMDB users.
Key Responsibilities

As a member of the CADM team, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Recording documents/data in the CMDB.
  2. Distributing documents/data externally and internally.
  3. Monitoring and controlling the quality of internal documents.
  4. Supporting project team members with CADM-related queries and providing guidance on Document and Data Management and CMDB use.
  5. Reporting on activities, CMDB state, and documentation/data status.
  6. Providing first-line support for user issues (troubleshooting) in all CMDBs.
  7. Contributing to and producing Data Management processes and supporting process improvement.
  8. Recording, controlling, maintaining, and distributing controlled data.
  9. Providing reports to the CADM Team Lead and/or project, product, or service teams.
  10. Working in a shared workload environment, assigned to a specific project, product, or service, or supporting multiple projects in collaboration with other CADM team members.
  11. Managing data in multiple environments.
  12. Maintaining secondary CMDBs and supporting users in administration and training.
  13. Supporting junior and newer CADM team members and helping them meet the required standards.
  14. Essential oral and written English language skills.
  15. Minimum 2 years of document control experience in a technical or data management environment.
  16. Digitally literate and proficient with MS Office Tools.
  17. Previous experience with file/data management tools (MS Office, PDF editor, FTP, Nero, etc.).
  18. Previous experience with Product Data Management tools (Windchill, Teamcenter, Aras Minerva, etc.).
  19. Exposure to APQP, CMII would be an asset.

Desirable:

  1. European languages advantageous.
  2. Understanding of project and product lifecycle highly desirable.
