Payroll Clerk Opportunity

We are recruiting a Payroll Clerk to work on a fixed term contract of 12 months with an immediate start available. The role is part-time or full-time, with 3 or 5 days per week, and is suitable for candidates with at least 2-3 years' experience processing weekly & monthly payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly & monthly payrolls accurately and on time
  • Submit payroll to HMRC in a timely manner
  • Reconcile timesheets to payroll entries
  • Set up starters and leavers
  • Verify employee hours, deductions & other payroll information
  • Process all aspects of company payroll (salaries, SSP, SMP and Pensions)
  • Handle personnel and pay documents for the company's staff
  • Assist in the reconciliation of relevant balance sheet accounts
