Quantity Surveyor

Caval Limited is seeking a skilled Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our Preconstruction, Construction, and Post-Construction phases, you will be responsible for assisting in cost estimates, tender documentation, and contractor selection. You will also monitor project costs, process payments, and contribute to project close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction:
  1. Support in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects ranging from £50k to £2 million.
  2. Assist in tender documentation and contractor selection processes.
Construction Phase:
  1. Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring they align with the budget.
  2. Process payments to contractors and suppliers in a timely manner.
Post-Construction:
  1. Assist in preparing final accounts and reconciling costs against the budget.
  2. Contribute to project close-out, including cost reports and handover documentation.
