Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist

Capita is seeking a Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for an individual with substantial experience in testing who is eager to advance their career in Salesforce quality assurance.

Role Overview:
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the System Under Test operates as intended by users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and regression testing.
  • Utilizing automated testing tools such as Selenium and Provar (depending on the project).
  • Performing manual testing procedures.
  • Designing test cases based on requirements (e.g., user stories).
  • Creating and documenting test cases, scripts, and test data.
  • Executing and recording both manual and automated testing in line with established test plans.
  • Logging precise and comprehensive defects.
  • Escalating issues and blockers to the Senior Software Tester or Team Lead.
  • Applying agreed-upon standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered outcome.
  • Gaining knowledge and experience through on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in testing (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Proficient in writing test scripts.
  • Experience in conducting functional testing, SIT, and regression testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Provar.
  • Manual testing experience.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Sales/Experience Cloud (desirable).
  • Salesforce certification (desirable).
