Capita is seeking a Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. We are in search of an individual with substantial experience in testing who is eager to advance their career in Salesforce quality assurance.

Role Overview:
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the System Under Test operates as intended by users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and regression testing.
  • Utilize automated testing tools such as Selenium and Provar, depending on the project.
  • Perform manual testing to validate system functionality.
  • Design test cases based on requirements and user stories.
  • Create and document test cases, scripts, and test data.
  • Execute and log the results of both manual and automated tests in accordance with established test plans.
  • Record and manage defects accurately.
  • Raise issues and blockers to the Senior Software Tester or Team Lead.
  • Apply agreed standards and methodologies to ensure a well-engineered outcome.
  • Enhance your knowledge and skills through on-the-job training.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Extensive experience in testing, with Salesforce experience being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in writing test scripts.
  • Experience in conducting functional testing, SIT, and regression testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Provar.
  • Manual testing experience.
  • An understanding of Salesforce Sales/Experience Cloud (desirable).
  • Salesforce certification (desirable).
