We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for dedicated and qualified Early Years Practitioners to become part of our Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery and Preschool, which is set to open soon.

This nursery will accommodate 108 children in a beautifully designed environment, featuring spacious classrooms and outdoor areas ideal for enriching teaching and learning experiences. The location offers excellent public transport access and some onsite parking facilities.

You will have the chance to work in our nearby Bright Horizons settings prior to the nursery's opening, allowing you to integrate into our community and culture.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to the developmental milestones of your key children.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Prior experience working with children (preferably as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar role)
  • A genuine passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child
  • Strong ability to build trust and effective working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Proficient in utilizing various communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements for working with children
