Job Description

We are a leading Private Equity Backed Commercial Services Business, specializing in end-to-end sales, installation, and service provision for our niche market. Our company is a category leader, and we are expanding significantly in the UK through existing channels and new sectors, including education, workplace, and healthcare.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Chief Commercial Officer to join our Board and drive commercial growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, formulating, and executing the Sales & Marketing elements of our Strategic Plan and annual Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Lead a commercially focused team, providing sound commercial judgment and guidance.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects on time, utilizing planning and organizational skills.
  • Build strong partnerships and relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Board to develop and implement the company's strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Recent experience in a senior role within Sales & Marketing in FMCG, retail, or B2B Services, with a proven track record of delivering sales and building brand.
  • Experience working with public procurement frameworks is ideal.
  • Well-networked within the field of expertise, with the ability to quickly understand and assimilate the industry sector.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing internal teams and external resources.
  • Ability to demonstrate successful control of departmental budgets and confident use of cost and pricing models.
  • Established strong Key Account relationships and metrics.

  • Persuasive and enthusiastic leader, with the ability to drive a team to deliver sales and build brand.
  • Pro-active and positive attitude, with the ability to manage a commercially focused team and respond proactively to business needs.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to manage and deliver multiple projects on time.

What We Offer

This is a Board appointment with a commensurate salary and package. The opportunity to participate in the equity scheme is also available, with the potential to deliver a seven-figure sum within the next 3-4 years. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on individual who leads from the front and enjoys coaching and mentoring a growing team.
