About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team at their automated site in the Midlands. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work
  • Maintenance, production improvements, and project work
  • Fault finding electrically and mechanically on various types of equipment on site
  • Managing health and safety
  • Dealing with robotic machinery
  • Strip down machinery and repair like for like

This will involve working with automated plant machinery, including single-phase & 3-phase equipment conveyors, Robots, RMS, and WHS Systems.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in maintenance, ideally from working within an automated environment. You should have a recognised engineer qualification Level 3, apprentice trained, and excellent fault-finding ability, with the ability to fault find to a conclusion.

You will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
