Position: Senior Engineer - HVAC
Rate: £39.89PH

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with a robust background in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated expertise in HVAC calculations and schematics.
  • Proficient understanding of psychometrics.
  • Experience in reviewing contractor documentation, including equipment drawings and policies.
  • Familiarity with naval shipbuilding and building services.
  • Active participation in the development, maintenance, and modification of engineering processes and procedures in alignment with technical advancements and operational requirements.
  • Conducting thorough technical analyses and investigations, evaluating and selecting technical options, and preparing comprehensive reports with recommendations to enhance engineering capabilities.
  • Proficient in designing HVAC systems and delivering customer-centric solutions throughout the shipbuilding cycle.
  • Ability to analyze engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.

Knowledge Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering or a defense-related sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding operations and modern construction strategies.
  • Familiarity with processes and tools utilized in Marine Engineering.
  • Understanding of the integration of marine engineering with other technologies and products.
  • Commercial awareness and insight into industry standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of the application of specialization within the maritime context.

Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Expertise in Marine Engineering Systems.
  • Experience in the design, construction, integration, support, and operation of naval vessels.
  • Awareness of Life Cycle Management reviews related to bids and programs.
  • Knowledge of external market trends and advancements in similar industries.
