Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate the movement of goods from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
  2. Manage daily workload for a fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are utilized efficiently and effectively.
  3. Deal with queries and issues from customers, subcontract hauliers, and warehousing sites, providing cost-effective solutions to meet their needs.
  4. Liaise with Traffic and Administration teams to maintain the highest standards of performance.
  5. Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for customer reports, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  6. Support the fleet and driver training team as required.
  7. Complete pre- and post-debriefs for all driver shifts.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrate a high level of transport planning expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
  2. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working, particularly during peak periods.
  3. Knowledge of SAP, BPCS, and Road Runner would be advantageous.
