About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing goal-focused rehabilitation to patients, enabling them to become experts in their own care and remain in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic assessments and interventions for patients, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, leveraging your expertise to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in rehabilitation, with a strong understanding of goal-focused care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
