Job Title: London Ticketing Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the PAYG and CPAY agreements, which represent a significant proportion of industry revenue. The successful candidate will work closely with TfL, TOCs, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver commercial solutions that meet the needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and delivery of the CPAY/PAYG customer proposition on behalf of TOCs.
  • Liaise with TfL over ongoing plans to improve the customer and commercial proposition of PAYG and CPAY.
  • Monitor TfL's delivery of PAYG and CPAY services to the TOCs in accordance with key commercial agreements.
  • Shape the development of service delivery for future ticketing developments.
  • Act as primary liaison between TfL's Project Team, RDG subject matter experts, and suppliers.
  • Support the London Agreements Manager in negotiations with TfL, senior TOC representatives, DfT, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Oyster PAYG and TfL CPAY contracts are kept up to date.
  • Represent TOCs during the TfL fares revision implementation period.
  • Manage and support the Joint Smartcard Group.
  • Support in writing papers and reports, present issues for discussion, and assist in preparing agendas for London Agreements Committee and other relevant governance and working groups.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge and experience of the PAYG/CPAY Agreements and associated Services Agreement.
  • A good understanding of the DfT's smartcard strategy and Fares, Ticketing & Retail reform.
  • Understanding of the commercial agreements relating to Smartcards between RDG, TfL, and DfT.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and nurture strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficiency in using Project Planning software and experience managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience of working/responding independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications to an advanced level.
  • Proven experience in analysing complex data and presenting actionable business cases.
