About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lambeth as a Community Engagement Officer (Brockwell Hall) on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project development of onsite activities, audience growth, training, and volunteer plans, and associated strategy for the National Lottery Heritage Fund project at Brockwell Hall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote the National Lottery Heritage Fund project at Brockwell Hall.
  • Collaborate with the Heritage Lottery Fund, Lambeth Council, and the Brockwell Park Community Partners to deliver the project's objectives.
  • Lead the delivery of the Activity and Interpretation Plan, ensuring the project meets its heritage and cultural goals.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including the Project Manager, Venue Manager, and Brockwell Park Community Partners, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local community groups and organizations to meet the project's outcome requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in community engagement, project development, and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and creativity.
  • Knowledge of heritage and cultural development principles and practices.
