About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Officer. In this role, you will work closely with local communities to build trust and raise awareness of dementia and our information, support, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and organize events to engage with local communities and promote our services.
  • Build relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to increase awareness of dementia and our organization.
  • Manage a team of volunteers to support community engagement activities.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to reach underserved communities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of community engagement activities.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia. You will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in community engagement and event management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of dementia and its impact on individuals and communities.
