Project Delivery Lead - Environment
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering projects to the highest standards, ensuring timely completion, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery outputs, including programme, financial position, health and safety, and environmental performance.
- Lead and manage staff at varying levels, providing leadership, staff development, and retention of key personnel.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior representatives of clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Environmental legislation, and company policies.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure successful delivery, meeting deadlines, and budget targets.
- Produce project performance reports, participate in financial reviews, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Establish and agree price variations and final accounts, ensuring accurate financial management.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, site installations, and teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Attend meetings and site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and provide guidance.
- Ensure all contract documentation is prepared according to specifications, meeting regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Industry-applicable ONC/HNC/ or NVQ equivalent qualification.
- H&S qualifications (desirable).
- IOSH or CITB Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS), CSCS card.
- Experience with NEC suite of contracts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Strong team player with good time management skills.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
