Job Overview
Southeastern is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Enforcement Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and directing a highly effective and motivated team who are dedicated to the reduction of crime, anti-social behaviour, and fare evasion to ensure the security of our railway.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a team of Railway Enforcement Officers to ensure the security of our railway
- Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce crime, anti-social behaviour, and fare evasion
- Work closely with other departments and outside agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to security
- Conduct high visibility patrols on our trains and at our stations to deter and detect crime
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and crimes
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to our passengers and stakeholders
Requirements
- Previous experience of leading and managing a team
- Must already be a Railway Enforcement Officer
- Previous experience of working in an environment with a high level of customer contact
- Previous experience working in an enforcement environment and dealing with conflict
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to write reports
- Excellent verbal communication and motivation skills
- Previous office experience an advantage
- Computer literate, knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
