Academic Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our academic team at Regent College London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, student support, and academic management within the School of Higher Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and deliver high-quality academic programs to students.
- Provide exceptional student support and guidance to ensure student success.
- Manage and lead a team of academic colleagues to achieve academic and student support goals.
- Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum within the subject area.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
- Collaborate with other academic staff to ensure a cohesive and effective academic environment.
- Participate in the recruitment and induction process of staff and students as required.
- Engage in scholarship and professional development to enhance teaching and academic practice.
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in teaching and academic management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
