Technical Property Claims Consultant

STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD is embarking on an exciting transformation, with significant investments focused on enhancing services, introducing new digital offerings for customers, and streamlining business processes. As part of this journey, there is an opportunity for a Technical Property Claims Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical oversight to enhance the company's strategy in handling Domestic and Commercial Property claims, with values typically up to £1M.
  • Developing and improving the control framework for building expenditures across Property claims.
  • Conducting quality reviews to ensure compliance with scoping guidelines and standards.
  • Managing a variety of claims remotely, dealing with cases of varying complexity and value.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience managing large and complex retail and commercial property claims.
  • Deep understanding of construction principles, general insurance policies, and building claims validation.
  • Proficiency in using scoping and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of the subsidence claims process.
  • Strong understanding of construction pathology, pricing, design, and defect analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
