Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer Lead

As a Site Reliability Engineer Lead at PayPoint plc, you will be responsible for setting standards for observability, building and maintaining tooling and automation to enhance the reliability of our platform, and working closely with product engineering teams to achieve optimal reliability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively monitor production systems to identify and remediate potential performance problems before they materialise.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to improve the observability of their applications.
  • Develop and maintain software development skills in one or more high-level languages, preferably C#/.NET.
  • Contribute to shaping the outcomes for this role by applying your knowledge of good SRE and platform engineering practices.
  • Make pragmatic, risk-based decisions that balance the commercial objectives of the business with non-functional requirements of the technology platform.
