PAA specializes in alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, and global real estate, with teams positioned around the globe to construct, manage, and advise on alternative investment portfolios for both institutional and private clients.
The role of the Compensation and Benefits Specialist is situated within PAM's reward function, providing essential support to both PAM and PAA in executing a comprehensive global compensation and benefits strategy across Pictet's asset management and alternatives sectors. The PAM reward team operates from both Geneva and London, with this position reporting to the Senior Reward Manager based in Geneva.
Key Responsibilities
› Assist the Reward team in executing the annual compensation review process for PAM and PAA
› Perform analyses related to the year-end compensation review as necessary
› Take ownership of the year-end reporting dashboards
› Maintain compensation-related data within the compensation management system (beqom)
› Administer short and long-term incentive plans for PAM and PAA as required
› Support the administration of UK benefits plans as needed
› Assist with the monthly payroll processes for the UK
› Contribute to the quarterly accruals and budgeting processes for PAM
› Manage the submission of annual market data surveys and maintain internal mapping in beqom for PAM and PAA
› Analyze and interpret results from market data surveys as required
› Support the administration of relevant remuneration regulations, including issuing certificates and completing necessary disclosures/reporting (such as the UK gender pay gap reporting)
› Assist with annual remuneration audits
› Conduct analysis and present data aligned with the current reward agenda for PAM and PAA
› Manage headcount dashboards and HR reports, ensuring appropriate follow-up
› Respond to inquiries from the RFP team
› Engage in ad-hoc reward administration and project tasks
Candidate Profile
› Previous experience in a compensation and/or payroll function is preferred, ideally within the financial services sector
› Proficient in Excel and Tableau, with experience using various compensation systems
› Familiarity with SAP/ADP payroll systems is advantageous but not mandatory
› Ability to maintain composure under pressure while managing multiple priorities
› Capable of working independently, effectively managing one’s own workload, as well as collaborating within a team
› Strong communication skills across all levels
› Exceptional attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and well-organized
